The first race on the 90-meter ski jump in Planica
On this day in 1934, a new 90-meter ski jump was opened in Planica, where several world records were broken, and in the same year, the milestone in the 100-meter jump was exceeded. In the last two decades, Planica has hosted the traditional final of the World Cup in ski flying in mid-March.
