Piran gets its first trolleybus in 1909
In Slovenian history, there were only two operational trolleybuses: in Piran and Ljubljana. On this day, in 1909, Piran received the first trolleybus to run on the approximately 5-kilometre-long line between Piran's Tartini Square and the railway station in present-day Lucija.
